Helping Families of Those Who Ride

The Blackstone Valley Motorcyclists' Survivors Fund is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our mission is to financially assist the families of licensed motorcyclists who reside in the Blackstone Valley, killed in a motorcycle accident . Specifically, families may apply for assistance with either monthly bills or final expenses.

We raise funds through private donations, fundraising events and rides, soliciting businesses that benefit from the motorcycle community, and from the support of motorcycle-related organizations throughout the Blackstone Valley.

We are currently in the process of expanding, by the time the 2010 riding season hits us, we will be covering all of Worcester County. We will also be expanding are coverage to seriously injured.

We also promote motorcycle safety and responsible driving.

We need leaders in our riding community to come forward, work with us to plan events in your area to raise funds to ‘fund the Survivor’s Fund.’

We need businesses who depend on riders to be points of contact for collecting donations, promoting the Survivor’s Fund, and sponsoring events that lead directly toward helping riders families in need.

We need promoters and planners of other charity events to pledge a $1 or $2 of each rider’s entry donation, to be donated to the Blackstone Valley Motorcyclists Survivor’s Fund – and put the BVMSF logo on their event flyers and websites showing the motorcycle community their event SUPPORTS RIDERS too!

And we need riders to begin LOOKING for this logo on Events and at the businesses – and if they don’t see it, ask ‘why’ the Event doesn’t support the families of riders killed in accidents
